Beyoncé Knowles - Dangerously in Love 2003

Dangerously in Love is the debut solo album of American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles, released on June 22, 2003, by Columbia Records. Recording sessions for the album took place in 2002 to 2003 at several studios, during the hiatus of her then-group Destiny's Child. The tracks in the album are a mixture of uptempos and ballads, which are basically inspired by R&B and soul genres; it also features elements of hip hop and Arabic music. Although Knowles remained discreet about her interpretation of the songs, its underlying meanings were attributed by music writers as an allusion to her intimate relationship with then-boyfriend and well-known music mogul Jay-Z.

Dangerously in Love propelled Knowles in becoming a viable solo star, as well as one of the most marketable singers in the recording industry. It became a worldwide commercial success, earning multi-platinum certifications in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 317,000 copies in its first week. Dangerously in Love received mixed to positive reviews from music critics upon its release and earned Knowles five Grammy Awards.

B'Day is the second studio album by American R&B recording artist Beyoncé Knowles, released on September 4, 2006 by Columbia Records in collaboration with Music World Music and Sony Urban Music. It was released to coincide with Knowles' twenty-fifth birthday. The album was originally planned for a 2004 release as a follow-up to her debut album Dangerously in Love (2003). However, the project was put on hiatus due to the recording of Destiny's Child's final studio album, Destiny Fulfilled (2004), and her starring role in the film Dreamgirls (2006).While on vacation after filming Dreamgirls, Knowles began contacting various producers; she rented Sony Music Studios, and completed B'Day in three weeks. Most of the lyrical content of the album was inspired by Knowles' role in the film. The album's musical style ranges from 1970s–80s funk and balladry to urban contemporary elements such as hip hop and R&B. Live instrumentation was employed in recording most of the tracks as part of Knowles' vision of creating a record using live instruments.

Bad Boys Blue - Kiss (1993)

The history of Bad Boys Blue started in Cologne (Germany) back in 1984, when the founders of Coconut Records - Tony Hendrik and his wife, Karin van Haaren (vel Karin Hartmann), decided to create a new music project. They planned to look for members of the new group in England, but finally they found them in Cologne. The original line-up was following: John Edward McInerney (born September 7th, 1957, Liverpool, England), Trevor Oliver Taylor (born January 11th, 1958, Birmingham, England, died January 19th, 2008, Cologne, Germany) and Andrew Freddie Thomas (born May 20th, 1946, Los Angeles, USA, died July 21st 2009, Cologne, Germany).

The first single of the group called "L.O.V.E. In My Car" was released in autumn 1984. It did very well in the discos and clubs, but it didn't get to the charts at all. It was the first, but also the last single track which Andrew sang lead on, cause producers wanted Trevor Taylor to sing the lead vocal in other tracks.

In contrast, the group never charted in the UK, and their only charting U.S. singles were "Save Your Love" (1993) and "Luv 4 U" (1994) which became successful chart hits. Moby Last Night 2008

Last Night is the eight studio album by American electronica musician Moby, released on 29 March 2008. The first single in the UK was "Alice", and in Europe was "Disco Lies" and the second single is "I Love to Move in Here" followed by "Ooh Yeah".
On his official website, Moby stated that this album is "a lot more dance-oriented and electronic than my last few albums, probably as a result of all of the DJ'ing I've been doing lately". He also wrote that:
Last Night is basically a love letter to dance music in New York City. What I love about the New York approach to dance music is the eclecticism and the open minded-ness on the part of the musicians, the DJ's, and the people in the bars and clubs. In making Last Night, I essentially tried to take a long 8 hour night out in New York City and condense it into a 65 minute long album.
The album was recorded in Moby's home studio in Manhattan, New York and features a number of guest vocalists, including Wendy Starland, MC Grandmaster Caz (one of the writers of "Rapper's Delight"), Sylvia from the band Kudu, British MC Aynzli, and the Nigerian 419 Squad.
On November 3, 2008 in the UK and November 25, 2008 in the U.S., a remix album of Last Night entitled Last Night Remixed was released.

Why the music is our passion?

Local music breaks down the barriers of language and ethnicity. Music is a universal language, which uplifts the spirit and helps to make friends.
People all over the world identify with music. The essence of ancient cultures lies in music, and if we are lucky, we can experience a bit of it.

Music reminds you of the people you met along the journey. Like a little romance I had with the girl from Holland captured perfectly by Natalie Imbruglia while we were waiting for the bus. It was a bittersweet farewell.
She promised to phone me, lying naked on the floor. (It never happened…)

Music shortens those long hot and smelly journeys in the back of a crowded bus. Music can drown out the noise of a big city. Listening to your favorite tracks can enhance the experience of seeing a natural or man-made wonder for the first time.
Make that “touristy” spot, a piece of your own travel memories without the camera-toting holidaymakers. For me it was Moby at Victoria Falls in Zambia.

Music makes the world a little more interesting. It helps your thoughts and imagination to be a little bit more creative.
I was sitting at the Stockholm train-station, and I was listening to Vaya Con Dios’s Don’t cry for Louie. I saw this shady guy with a trench coat and dark glasses, and he had two tarty looking women with him.
Pimp and prostitutes. I saw Louie. I had the urge to walk over to one of the women and ask her to sing for me, in that lovely low and sexy voice. The fear of a slap in the face, and possible arrest for public disturbance stopped me.
And Louie would have been pissed off.
